The U.S. women have their final two competitive matches before the 2024 Summer Olympics as they contest a reconfigured version of the SheBelieves Cup on home soil.
With incoming head coach Emma Hayes nearly set to take charge of the team as Chelsea's season draws closer to a conclusion, Twila Kilgore will lead the USWNT one last time, having taken down Japan 2-1 in the semifinals which sets up a meeting with Canada in the final.
The reorganization of the SheBelieves Cup has scrapped the old round robin format in favor of a straight four-team mini bracket. The United States will play 7th-ranked Japan in one semifinal, while 9th-ranked Canada will take on 10th-ranked Brazil in the other.

Then, the winners will play in a title game while the losers will meet in a third-place matchup, ensuring all teams get two games in the competition, rather than the old version which featured three matches for all nations.
Of the four participants, only Japan has not confirmed a place at the Olympics in Paris this coming summer, with their qualifying tournament still to be played in two weeks time.
As part of its long-term rights deal with U.S. Soccer, Turner Sports has the English-language broadcast rights to the SheBelieves Cup in 2024. Concurrent to that, NBC Universal has the rights to Spanish-language coverage.
The USWNT semifinal against Japan will be televised in English on TNT, which is available to stream on Sling or on Turner's dedicated platform Max. The Spanish broadcast on Universo will also be available to stream on Fubo or NBC's dedicated platform Peacock. Fubo is currently offering a FREE trial to new users.
Regardless of whether they are in the final or third-place match, the United States have been earmarked to play in the 7 p.m. ET slot on Tuesday, while the other game will kick at 4 p.m. ET. Both matches on Tuesday will be broadcast in English on TBS, while the Spanish broadcast is again on Universo.
The biggest news for the USWNT at the SheBelieves Cup is that both Mallory Swanson and Catarina Macario return from their long-term knee injuries for the first time. Swanson has been out since last March after suffering a torn patella tendon in the lead-up to the 2023 Women's World Cup, while Macario has been sidelined for a frustrating 16 months with a torn ACL. It's unclear how many minutes each will be handed.
European-based youngsters Lily Yohannes (16 years old) and Eva Gaetino (21 years old) earned their first call-ups after impressing in the UEFA Women's Champions League, which new USWNT head coach Emma Hayes is currently participating in as she finishes out the season with Chelsea.
Rose Lavelle was not included as a "precautionary measure" as she deals with an injury, while Midge Purce has gone down recently with an ACL tear suffered in NWSL play.
